A global mobile device manufacturer aimed to achieve an explosive market entry for its new wearable mobile technology. The need for immediate, widespread attention demanded more than just a standard product launch.

With the client’s approval, we identified an up-and-coming social media influencer, hungry to establish himself as a consumer electronics insider, and strategically provided him with early, exclusive access, which he then represented as “confidential,” “leaked” information.

This was a calculated risk, a direct challenge to traditional PR, designed to bypass the usual gatekeepers and ignite organic, rapid buzz. It was a daring move, putting trust in an unconventional channel to generate a viral phenomenon.
